Tetiaroa, Tahiti (French Polinesia)    

Complete atoll topo-bathymetic 3D survey using airborne Green LiDAR. This survey included 10 islands, outside barrier reef and lagoon by applying state-of-the-art topo-bathymetic LiDAR technology. This system alows high resolution sensing land, vegetation, constructions and sea bottom reaching depths of 15 meters....

This survey was a part of the multi-disciplinary and ambituous international project IDEA, aiming for coral and oceanic high-end environmental knowledge and policies, as the wishes of the Holliwood movie star Marlon Brando, which lived for many years in this atoll.
